Workers return to work at Bafokeng Rasimone

23 August 2012

Over a thousand workers who staged a stay away at Royal Bafokeng‘s Bafokeng Rasimone mine yesterday are back at work today.

“We congratulate the workers for refusing to be misled by people with political ambitions and for returning to work” says Sydwell Dokolwana, the NUM`s Regional Secretary in Rustenburg. “We appeal to all our members in Rustenburg and across the North West to disregard calls to stay away from work as that is illegal and may jeopardise their jobs” says Dokolwana.
