COSATU NW to visit Boskop Farm

7 December 2010

The Congress of South African Trade Unions in the North West together with the Human Rights Commission will visit Boskop farm, prompted by the racist activity which is taking place in the farm.

Black people living in the farm have been denied water and electricity whereas their white counterparts have the services provided to them.

The painful matter about this is that the farm is under the control of the former MEC of Agriculture in the North West, whom we expect to protect the rights of poor citizens of the country

COSATU in the North West will be visiting the farm tomorrow, 8th December 2010 at 10h00, to have first hand information and physically see the inhumane conditions that the people are living in

Members of the media are welcomed to join us during the visit.

For any clarity contact provincial secretary of COSATU North West Comrade Solly Phetoe at 082 304 4055
