COSATU 25th Anniversary

COSATU 25th Anniversary

3 December 2010

The Congress of South African Trade Union will be celebrating its 25th anniversary since it was established in 1985, fighting for the rights of workers and defending the poor working class.

As a federation of 21 unions, COSATU representing over 2 million members. The federation has also been instrumental in fighting for the national democratic revolution and building socialism.

The celebration will be on the 4th December 2010 at Johannesburg stadium from 7H30 until the next morning.

In the North West province, transport is arranged in all four district as follows;

  • Dr Ruth Mompati Segomotsi
  • Dr Kenneth Kaunda
  • Ngaka Modiri Molema
  • Bojanala disctrict.

All workers with their families are requested to join the workers’ celebration in Johannesburg Stadium.

The departure time for the buses from all the pick-up points will be from 4H30 to 5H30 am.

Therefore, we request all members to contact their bus co-ordinators. All workers and their families must be given access ticket to the stadium ast they get into the buses.

NB. No ticket no access to the stadium.
