Objectives for the National Gender Conference currently being held (10-11 June, Birchwood Hotel Boksburg):

To comprehensively evaluate the state of current gender struggles in COSATU and its affiliates.
To review and assess the implementation of past COSATU Gender Policy and 9th National Congress resolutions on gender.
To adopt the Gender Unit Report for the 10th National Congress in September
To devise new strategies, policies and resolutions for implementing gender programmes in readiness for the Congress and input for the next three years programme.
