ADVISORY: ALLIANCE SUMMIT PROGRAMME

8 May 2008

The national leadership of the African National Congress (ANC), South
African Communist Party (SACP), Congress of South African Trade Unions
(COSATU) and South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) will meet in
an Alliance Summit on 9-11 May 2008 at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.

The Summit, the first since 2005, will focus on the priorities, policies and
programmes of each of the components of the Alliance, and identify both
areas of agreement and divergence.

Media is invited to attend open sessions as highlighted below:

FRIDAY 9 MAY:

* Political input by SACP General Secretary
* Political input by COSATU President

SUNDAY 11 MAY:

* Summit Declaration
* Closure by ANC President

ACCREDITATION

Please note that all media wishing to attend need to collect accreditation
tags from ANC headquarters, Chief Albert Luthuli House, 54 Sauer Street,
Johannesburg on Friday 9 May from 10h00-12h00.
