SASFU vs S.A National Defence Force 13-05-08

The South African Security Forces Union (SASFU) representing South African soldiers, is challenging the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) HIV/AIDS policies in a Pretoria High Court hearing taking place on 15 and 16 May 2008. SASFU is inviting members of the media to a briefing taking place at the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) headquarters tomorrow morning.

As SASFU we feel that the HIV/AIDS testing policy of the SANDF is not only discriminatory but unconstitutional.
