COSATU SECRETARY BOYCOTTS ‘EXCLUSIVE’ PARTY

Tony Ehrenreich, COSATU Western Cape Provincial Secretary has rejected a “BY INVITATION ONLY” exclusive invite to a party hosted by SABC and Correctional Services, in honour of Madiba’s birthday! This party will be held at the Drakenstein Correctional Facility in Paarl

MADIBA signifies everything that is inclusive, unifying and empowering. Tony and COSATU refuse to be a party to a celebration for the elite, elect and chosen ones, when our members are not also free to come.

This ‘celebration’ is an excuse for the elite to get together and pat each other on the back and consider how well they’ve done! This, while our people are still unemployed and starving.

If you cannot hold an open celebration where everyone can participate and enjoy – we want no part of it!
