Cosatu shocked by the union leader's murder 08-01-08

 

The Congress of South African Trade Unions is deeply shocked at the assassination of Alhaji Saka Saula, a leader of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), an affiliate of the Nigeria Labour Congress. He was shot by four masked gunmen outside his house in Lagos on Sunday, 6 January. We send our condolences to his family and fellow workers and hope that his murderers will be arrested and severely punished.
