People's Budget Coalition

MEDIA ALERT

The People's Budget Coalition (PBC) - comprising the Congress of SA Trade Unions, the SA Council of Churches and the SA NGO Coalition -, will, as usual be presenting both its expectations from, and reaction, to Wednesday's Budget Speech by the Minister of Finance.

A statement of expectations will be issued around 12h00 on Tuesday 19 February and the response to the budget will be given as soon as possible after the speech, and then at a press conference which will also launch the People's Budget for 2009-2010, on Thursday 21 February, at 12h00 at COSATU House (10th Floor), 1 Leyds Street, cnr Biccard, Braamfontein.
