Public Service strike - Invitation to media conference

The Public Service Trade Unions have completed the process of consulting their membership about the strike. The members' views were reported to a meeting of all the unions tonight, 27 June 2007. The meeting will consult further with the membership overnight and reconvene tomorrow morning.

The media are invited to a press conference to announce the outcome of the consultations and the decision of the meeting. It will be at 11h00 on Thursday 28 June at the PSCBC Office, 260 Basden Avenue, Lyttleton, Centurion.
