March and picketing in Fouriesburg tomorrow 28 June 2007

The Free State farmer who chained two young girls in Fouriesburg two months ago appears again in the local Fouriesburg Court tomorrow, 28 June 2007, and Cosatu in the province together with the FAWU and the community around Fouriesburg will march from the township to the Fouriesburg Court. The march will leave between 08h00 and 10h00 to the magistrate court where there will be picketing whilst the court will be in session and later hand the memorandum to the local magistrate.

We once again call again for justice to take its course and that the heavy penalty should be imposed on the farmer so that a clear massage is send to other farmers who will commit the same in the future.
