Latest Ceppwawu strike report 28-07-07

 

The strike in the Pharmaceutical Sector is set to continue. This came after talks today between Ceppwawu and the Employers Association for Pharmaceutical Employers broke down. The Employers continue with their offer of an 8% wage increase and this was not accepted by Ceppwawu members. We continue to be hopeful that these Multinational Corporations will accept the fact that they have to share their profits with their employees in a more equitable way.
