COSATU condemns attacks on ANC councillor in Deneysville

COSATU in the Free State and Northern Cape is shocked by the cowardly and senseless killing of Ntai Mokoena, an ANC councillor and Chief Whip, in Metsimaholo, Deneysville. We send condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

This incident is nothing but a violent and cowardly act by individuals pursuing criminal acts in the name of the community. We are calling for the police to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book as soon as possible.
