Cosatu march in Merafong 06-07-07

 

Carletonville COSATU Local and members of the Merafong community will be marching on Monday 9thJuly 2007 at 15:00 to Carletonville Civic Centre to deliver a memorandum to a representative of the MEC for Local Government in Gauteng Province from the Carletonville COSATU Local committee on behalf of the people of Merafong.

The memorandum will demand that the national government come down and listen to the demands of the people of Merafong, including the unconditional lifting of the suspension of victimised teachers, the immediate withdrawal of charges against them and the repayment of the unlawful deductions of teacher's salaries.
