DANNY GLOVER TO VISIT SACTWU!

Well-known Hollywood actor Danny Glover will be visiting Cape Town next week as a special guest of the S A Clothing & Textile Workers' Union (SACTWU). He is accompanied by Bruce Raynor, the President of UNITE-HERE (SACTWU's American sister trade union).

You are invited to a press conference which they will both address and make important announcements about their development work, as follows:

Danny is also the Chairman of the Trans-Africa Forum. Mr Raynor is the Chairman of America's largest union-owned commercial bank and is here to attend the ICGN 12th Annual Conference taking place in Cape Town, from Wednesday 4th July 2007.The conference will debate some of the key issues in global corporate governance including hedge funds, private equity, shareholder accountability, board performance, the role of regulators, and whether the interests of stakeholders are taken into account in investment decisions. Mr Raynor is expected to make some comments on the issues.
