COSATU incensed at girl's murder

The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Gauteng Province sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Thato Radebe, the 14 year-old girl who was brutally raped and killed at the weekend in Emdeni, Soweto. Our members are appalled and sickened at this gruesome crime.

COSATU welcomes the prompt arrest of a suspect and demands that if he is found guilty, he is punished as severely as the law allows. We have to send out the message that our communities are angry and disgusted at such violent murders and will not tolerate such unforgivable deeds.
