May Day is a holiday!

The Congress of South African Trade Unions appeals to all workers to stay away from work tomorrow on May Day and attend the 22 COSATU rallies which are being held around the country. We also make a last-minute call to all employers to allow their workers the day off, or at the very least to pay them double time for working on a public holiday, and under no circumstances to dismiss or threaten any employees who exercise their constitutional and legal right to refuse to work tomorrow.
