Around 1000 demonstrators, from COSATU, the SACP, YCL, PUDEMO and its youth wing, have handed over a memorandum to a representative of the Premier of Mpumalanga at the Matsamo border post between South Africa and Swaziland. The march has been disciplined and the overall mood is jovial but defiant. Speakers from COSATU, the SACP and PUDEMO have addressed the crowd. This is one of five protests at the South Africa/Swaziland border posts in support of democracy and human rights in Swaziland.
