NEW FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE BY THE
FRIENDS OF JACOB ZUMA TRUST

The Friends of Jacob Zuma Trust has introduced new fundraising features to
its
website as part of its ongoing fundraising initiatives. Although the
corruption case against ANC Deputy President Jacob Zuma has been struck off
the roll, we still face outstanding legal costs.

Mr Zuma has had to retain the services of his legal team due to outstanding
legal processes such as the appeal against the search and seizure warrants.
The legal team also has to study the forensic report prepared by the State
in
the event of new charges being brought against Mr Zuma.

We have noted the budget allocation announced by Finance Minister Trevor
Manuel in parliament. However there has to date not been any formal
confirmation from the State Attorney indicating that the State will
contribute
towards Mr Zuma's defence legal costs, and if so what percentage of the
costs
will be covered.

Due to the immense popularity of the Friends of Jacob Zuma website in South
Africa and internationally, communication to the site has been extended to
mobile content. It will now be possible to send messages via cellphone to
the
highly popular Messages of Support page at a cost of R3. This page has
become
a vibrant centre for political debate by ordinary South Africans concerned
by
what has happened to Mr Zuma.

Through reply messages to the cellphone, users will be kept up to date
about
latest news and updates to the website.

We are also introducing Mr Zuma's trademark song, "Mshini Wam", as a
ringtone.
Polyphonic and Monotones can be downloaded at a cost of R5. The Truetone
bearing Mr Zuma's original voice can be downloaded at a cost of R10.

Cellphone users can download autographed images of Mr Zuma as wallpapers
from
the photo gallery on the website. If a user downloads more than one
wallpaper,
they are automatically entered into a draw to win a life-sized, autographed
portrait with Msholozi.
