Invitation to the media

COSATU was 21 years old on 1 December 2006. To celebrate this important anniversary we are holding a seminar on 7 December 2006. (It did not take place on the actual day of the anniversary, since COSATU joined government and civil society in marking World AIDS Day and did not want to detract from the importance of that day.)

The seminar will retrace the footsteps of COSATU over the past 21 years and critically assess its achievements, strengths, weaknesses and challenges and ask: Are we on track for the next 21 years?
