Post: Regional Educator/Organiser

COSATU needs to fill a vacant position of Provincial Organiser/Educator in its Germiston Provincial Office based in Johannesburg. Requirements include:

• Organising skills, including an ability to coordinate organising programmes and campaigns
• Education skills, including an ability to facilitate in workshops, designing materials and coordination of education and training skills
• Political skills, including a firm knowledge of the trade union movement and the liberation movement.
  

Duties will include:

• Implement national education and organising programmes including campaigns.
• Deliver national and provincial programmes in coordination with affiliated unions’ educators or designated persons
  

Accountability will be primarily to the Provincial Secretary and the collective of the PEC and to General Secretary through the Organising Secretary and Education Secretary for national programmes.
